Noa

Movement has always fascinated me. At twenty-two, while studying dance in college, I experienced multiple injuries—including persistent back and knee pain. That's when my favorite teacher introduced me to the Ilan Lev Method (ILM).

The transformation was immediate. My pain vanished, and I felt a deep sense of comfort and belonging I had never known. I continued receiving ILM sessions for both maintenance and inspiration.

At twenty-four, I enrolled in an ILM training course taught by Ilan Lev himself. In 2010, I became a certified ILM practitioner, and since 2013, I've proudly served as part of the instructor team for the training course.

I later advanced through the ILM Advanced Course and the Movement Course Teacher Training. These years reshaped my understanding of my body from the ground up—a journey that continues to evolve.

My posture improved effortlessly, and a new tenderness emerged. ILM became a language of inner dialogue—a way to connect with my body, mind, and relationships.

Today, I live in Leiden, The Netherlands, with my partner and our two wonderful children. I continue to practice ILM and teach internationally, including at the Advanced Course alongside Ilan Lev.

Over time, my Ilan Lev Method sessions began to expand. The touch and movement remained central, but I noticed that for some people, the space for words also needed to grow. Gradually, the dialogue became an essential part of the process — guided by the same language and principles of the ILM.

During the COVID period, when physical touch was not possible, I used the time to deepen my understanding through the Recall Healing, Nonviolent Communication, and other relational approaches. This opened a new direction in my work — sessions held only through conversation and presence.

Later, as I moved to the Netherlands, I continued meeting some of my clients online, and from there, "Being With Noa" naturally emerged. These sessions — offered both in person and online — inviting people to meet themselves and others with awareness, curiosity, and tenderness.

I also took a Postpartum Doula & Parental Guidance 0-1 Training Course, which enriched my perspective on relationships, bonding, and the emotional transitions that come with change — themes that echo through all my work.

Today, I offer both Ilan Lev Method sessions — rooted in movement and touch — and Being With Noa sessions, which weave together conversation, reflection, and embodied awareness.

At times, I integrate both approaches, tailoring each session to meet the specific and unique needs of every individual I accompany. Alongside my one-on-one work, I also guide workshops that explore the qualities of touch, curiosity and playfulness — inviting people to connect through movement and presence.
